In Memory of Jack Edward Harney lost to Agent Orange in 2015.

Jack was an E-5 in the United States Army from 1967-1969. He was with the 105th and 264th Transporation.

Jack was in Vietnam 1968-1969 and was in the Tet Offensive. He was stationed in DaNag, Chu Lai, Phu Bai and Quang Tri.

Jack passed away January 2015 from congestive heart failure with Agent Orange as a contributing factor. He also suffered from many of the Agent Orange “presumptive”.

We met in 1964 and married in 1969 two weeks after he came home from Vietnam. We were together for 51 years. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Every year Jack was Santa’s helper in our local malls and nursing homes.

A memorial brick has been laid in honor of his military service on the Indianapolis Soldier’s and Sailor’s Momument Circle.

In June 2015 Jack was honored at The Wall.

Jack was my whole life!!!!! As I waited for him to come home, he now waits for me to come home.
