James was awarded a Purple Heart. During his time served in Vietnam he was affected by Agent Orange.
He suffered heart problems, kidney failure and bladder cancer. James Robert Roof passed away July 5, 2015 from the exposure to Agent Orange.
My dad had an amazing life. He would have done anything to help anyone. This man was a man bigger than anybody I have ever met in my life.
