In Memory of Leonard M. Chavez lost to Agent Orange in 2010.
Leonard M. Chavez served in Vietnam 1969-1970 where he was exposed to Agent Orange.
Leonard became ill around the age of 49. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, renal failure, vascular disease, type 2 diabetes and ischemic heart disease.
During the 10 years of his illnesses he seldom complained. He took things in stride and was only disappointed his life had taken such a drastic change and was shortened by so many years because of Agent Orange.
Leonard left behind a wife, 1 son, 2 daughters as well as his precious grandchildren.
