In Memory of Louis E. Westerburg lost to Agent Orange 3-11-1992.

In rememberance of my husband, Louis E Westerburg (Wes). DOB 03.13.1946 DOD 03.11.1992, US Marine Corp 1966-1968, Vietnam 1966-1967, 3 purple hearts. Lou was in the 1st Marine Div, 3rd Bn, M Co 2nd Plt 7th Marines in Vietnam.

Lou died way too soon due to his service and exposure to AO, non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was only 45 years old at the time of death. He just retireLd (1990) from his profession of Chief of Police in a suburb of Cleveland and was diagnosed in May of 1991.

I miss the chance to grow old with him and enjoy our 6 grandchildren together, one is with him now. He is missed everyday and would have been very proud of his “girls” and their accomplishments. He accomplished so much in his time and had so much more to give and do. He would have enjoyed hanging out with his son-in-laws.

He loved fishing and boating and his charter fishing business, Shorty Hooks on Lake Erie. I miss him very much !!
