In Memory of Roy O. Bowron lost to Agent Orange in 2012.
Roy was in the United States Army, C-Battery, 6th Battalion and 1st Artillery. He was an SP4 (T), Cannon Direction Specialist.
Roy was in Vietnam in 1967-1968 at Camp J.J. Carroll near the DMZ.
Roy passed away December 29, 2012 from Agent Orange prostate and bone cancer. His battle with cancer lasted 4 years and he worked 3 of the 4 years while having chemo and radiation treatments. He never complained.
Roy also had PTSD.
He was a wonderful man and a born again Christian. My husband told me he became a born again in a bunker in Vietnam.
Roy had a passion for the homeless because many were “Nam” vets and he would take them to apply for VA benefits.
Roy was the love of my life. We had known each other since we were children and we were married 24 years.
He is greatly missed by his family and friends.
Roy was and still is the love of my life.
