In Memory of William R. Nichols lost to Agent Orange in 1979.

William served in the United States Army for 21 years and was stationed in Vietnam. He lived to serve his country.

My father passed away February 24, 1979 at the age of 42 of a cardiac arrest due to his exposure to Agent Orange.

My father hated the smell of cinnamon because it reminded him of the chemical that was sprayed all around the land in Vietnam. My father suffered from severe PTSD as a result of his time in Vietnam. All four of us kids suffer from anxiety and thought is maybe a side affect of my dad’s exposure to chemicals.

It was hard growing up without our dad. My mom was a few months pregnant with my twin brother and sister when he passed in 1979. It was very tough times for my mom.

My dad was a loving husband and father taken much to soon. We will forever hold his love and dedication in our hearts.
