In Memory of Chester P. Kozdra lost to Agent Orange 2009.
Chester P. Kozdra proudly served in the United States Army with the 215 CAV-DIV as a medic.
While performing his duties in Vietnam, 1969-1970, Chet was hit by a bomb that blew apart the back side of his butt and both legs. He was told he would never walk again but he refused to let that happen and did regain his ability to walk again.
My husband was awarded 2 Purple Hearts. Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and he received a honorable discharge as an E5.
Chet passed away August 5, 2009 from a quadruple bypass, lung problems, kidney problems and spent the last 6 years of his life on oxygen due to his exposure to Agent Orange.
My hero is love and missed to this day.
Donna Kozdra
