In Memory of Stephen Arthur Casey Sr. lost to Agent Orange 1982.

Stephen Arthur Casey Sr. enlisted in the Army March 23, 1964, three days after his 18th birthday and was discharged February 28th 1970.

He was stationed in Okinawa 1964-1965 and in Vietnam 1965-1966. Stephen was in the 101 Airborne 173rd (Sep) infantry. He was a paratrooper.

I believe they were the only paratroopers to parachute in Vietnam. I have his jump record and he did jump from May 1965 to Dec. 1965.

He was an expert shooter.

Stephen passed away April 19, 1982 of liver and intestinal hemorrhage due to Agent Orange.

On my 10th birthday my father gave me a little ring, it was a gold band with little lines grooved into the gold… it had a pink stone that is my birthstone. It fit my pinky finger when I got older.

Unfortunately someone stole it. But I still cherish it in my heart. It was the only thing my father ever gave me. I tell this story because the ring was stolen from me like my Daddy was.

Vietnam and Agent Orange stole my father!!!!

See you in Heaven Daddy!

Your loving daughter and son, Starrla and Stephen, Jr. Casey

Stephen is with his sister, Arlene, in the picture.
