In Memory of John Pyle lost to Agent Orange in 2005.

My Amazing Dad, John Pyle. We lost him in 2005 to colon cancer, and they said it was most likely due to the effects of Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam. He served his term from 63-67.

I miss him every day, even as I write this, tears well in my eyes. He was my hero, I never thought anything could bring him down. I think I am just lucky to have gotten 25 years with him. So many others got so much less time with their loved ones, and also, so many soldiers never even returned.

I send much love to all of you, my heart breaks for your losses, and for mine.

  1. So sorry for your loss!! I too had cancer from a orange but the Navy doesn’t cover that Esophageal Cancer word!!! Although they recognized it and took care of the WW11, Korean, Afghanistan and Iraq vets.

  2. Steel yourselves and ” anger” against the war machine that still sends the young to slaughter others for profit. Let your grief rise as anger, righteous anger.

  3. I’m so sorry, I lost my Dad 11 years ago, he was only 61, & Agent Orange is what caused his cancer. 😢
