In Memory of Richard W. Wood lost to Agent Orange.
Richard W. Wood was in the United States Navy and served off shore in Vietnam with his brother Robert on the USS Tulare.
He was exposed to Agent Orange.
Richard had Leukemia, type 2 diabetes and spent 17 years in and out of hospitals.
He died just before his 65th birthday when he was going to retired.
Richard’s name is one of seven names on a wall at the Vietnam LZ Peace Memorial dedicated to Rockford’s heroes who succumbed to the effects of Agent Orange.
