Master Sargent (E6) Edward Earl Maxwell, 9/3/32 – 10/17/86. B troop 1/9 air Calv 1st Calv Div, 3 tours Vietnam. May dad enlisted into the Army when he was 17 years old. He was a E-6 in south Nam from the summer of 1966 and the summer of 1967. Then went again in 1972.

Edward was in AN KHE and the central high lands. He was awarded two Bronze Stars one with a V FOR Valor, 5 Purple Hearts, that I have, and my prize letter from Brigadier General Mike Winston, commending my father for actions he took that were above and beyond the call of duty.
