In Memory of Wallace Smart Reed lost to Agent Orange in 2011.
My courageous husband, Capt. Wallace S Reed died in 2011 because of Agent Orange. He suffered for years with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, heart disease, diabetes, neuropathy and many other conditions.
He worked tirelessly for his and others’ rights in the affects of Agent Orange. Right up until the end, he was a warrior for the cause, along with remaining in the Navy for 31 years, much of it as an Active Reservist.
AO has definitely affected my family. In addition, he watched a daughter born with bilateral hip dysplasia, and a son who was stillborn and another son who died soon after birth.
In adulthood, our daughter suffered from several autoimmune diseases including irritable bowel syndrome, Guillaine Barre Syndrome and a miscarriage, although she now has a healthy baby.
